flower fairy

Morning all well I don't know about you but I'm fed up of this weather. Every time I go out I come back wet throw.
the only thing about the weather I can spend more time crafting lol.

For today's card I started with my topper I coloured it in with pro-markers. And then I cut it out with the spellbinders stately circles die.

Next I used my spellbinders Grand circles dies. I cut 3 layers all in different papers.

I layered them all up on a 8"-8" scalloped card.
I then mounted my topper in to the centre.

I used my cricut and cut out my flowers i the same paper as I have used on the card. I made the flowers up and I sprayed them with stick and stay and dipped them in to glitter.

To finish with I tied a messy bow out of pink seam binding.

I Would just like to thank you for taking the time to stop by.
I do appreciate you comments xx

Hope you are having better weather ware you are.

Today's card is made by some flower cut outs from the glitter girls. Ive had them in a box for years so I thought I'd let them out.

To start with I have used a A4 black card I cut my self a vase with some mirri board I glued it to my card by both side and bottom of the vase leaving it open at the top so I can Add my flowers.

I cut all the flowers out and then I arranged them in the vase.
I used glue gel so I can move them about til I got them in the right place.

I was really pleased with the way it turned out.

Happy 21st Birthday

Good morning all hope you all well.
Looks like we could be having a lovely
day. But how long for I don't know.
Ive got a lot to do this morning before I can get any crafting done.
I'm taking my dad to town then Ive got to see if I can get molly my dog in at the vets as she's really poorly she's lost so much weight. She's 12 but she only looks like a pup so its not looking too good.

so back to my card I started with a A5 cream landscape card but it opens at the side.

I cut my edges with the Spellbinders curved border dies in teal card and I layered them up on top of each other.

I then cut my top layer with cream card.
I wrapped a piece of cream lace around to cover the joins in the card.

I then printed my verse on to cream card. I then cut it out with the spellbinder gold labels 4.
I then added it to the centre of my card.

I then cut a large flourish in teal card and I added it to the side of my card.

To finish with I glued my flowers to the bottom left corner I added my bow just under  my flowers.

Thank you for taking the time to  stop by. And I do appreciate all your comments

fridays oldies

Afternoon all over at snappycrafts.blogspot Erika is doing a oldies on a Friday.
This is my oldie I made this one years ago.
I started with a 8"-8" card blank. I cut 2borders with spellbinders border dies.
I added them to both sides of my card.
For my centre piece I printed my topper from a MCS disc I cut it to the size of my bubble.
you may not be able to see but there is water in the bubble. To make it I added some water in to the bubble and with silicon glue I went around the  edge of the bubble. I then put some acetate on the top to seal the water in. I let it dry over night.
when it is dry you can now cut your image to size. I then glued it to the acetate so the image is facing into the bubble.
I then glued it to the centre on my card. It really looks affective but please don't put it in the post as it may burst.
it would be nice to hear your comments on this one. Debs xx

I then cut another white mat about a inch smaller than the first one. I then cut 3 more Mats and then on the 4th one I embossed it with the button embossing folder.

with some pink silk board I cut the majestic gold circles die out. And I mounted it into the centre of my card.

I then coloured my image with pro markers. I cut it out with a circle die so it fit into the centre of my centre piece.

I tried a large pink bow and added it to the top corner. I then added 2 hatpins that I made.

To finish with I added some gems to the top right corner.

Thinking of you mum

Good Sunday morning and the sun is shining and the birds are singing its so nice to hear.

For today's card l'd like to share with you this card that means so much to me as I made it for my mum that sadly passed away just weeks after I made this card.
I now have It framed so when i look at it shes here with me.

This is a 3D card as I started by making a box out of silver card. The flowers are from the glitters girls I embossed them and cut them out.
I just started by sticking them to the inside of the front and back of the box. It was a very simple to make but affective.
I have been asked to make another one but I cant bring my self to do another one as this one means so much to me.

It would be nice to hear your thoughts on this one. I'm now going to have a coffee and then I'm off in the garden in the sun while its here.

Birthday candles

Good morning all hope you are all well. and well come to my new followers. I think I'm going to have a lazy day and do a bit of crafting.

Today's card is a bit different for me I hate having to do men's cards and I was messing about not knowing what to do and this one popped into my head.

Its a A5 card that I added some text paper to as the background. And then I cut the Spellbinder's floral Oval out in cream card and added it to the top of my card.

I then took five pieces of patterned paper and rolled them up and glued them on to the card at angles.
I then cur one of the spellbinder's carnation flowers and cut of the petals I inked them while still in the die. I glued them to the top of my rolled papers to make candles. I was quite pleased with how it terned out.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. Debs xx

Best Wishes

Good morning all well got a busy day head got a load of ironing I've been putting off. Then I'm off to my big Sisters. and then back home to go to my Dads and have a couple of hours with him.
so I thought I'd better do this post before I forget it.

For this I started with a white A5 card and I cut a mat in white just abit smaller than my card.
I put my die into the centre of the mat so I have a large border for my foam tape to fit.
After cutting and embossing I inked it while still in the die. So I had a inked border and just small bits of my embossing.
I then cut the largest die from the stately circles die set and after embossing I inked it up.then i did the same with the next size down.
but I stamped my sentiment into the centre of this.
To finish with I tied a large white bow and I used my glue gun to add it to the side of my card.
I make two hat pins by added some pink beads on to plain pins.

I would love to hear your thoughts on this one
thank for stopping by xx

A Spanish Birthday

Good morning friends, followers and bloggers.
I've been playing with some of Sue Wilson's dies And found out you can make some wonderful cards.
This card I've used the Spanish background.
And I've also used colours that I don't often use.
Ive had some brown card in my stash for years
so I thought I'll give it ago.
and to my surprise it turned out OK.

I started with a cream A5 card and I cut a mat in brown and then one in cream. I then cut another cream one then I centred my die leaving a large boarder so I can put my double sided foam tape. I cut and embossed it. I then added it to my card. I then cut a banner in brown and a smaller one in cream on which I stamped my sentiment. I added it across my card. I then tied a brown messy bow and added it to the left end of my banner.
I had a very large brown flower in my stash so I have used it on my ribbon. To finish with I added three small cream flowers to the top right corner.
I Would love to hear your thoughts on this one as it is a different colour for me.
Thanks for stopping by

SPANISH BACKGROUND

Good morning all its soon got around to Monday. I don't know where this year as gone.

For today's card I was having a play around with the Spanish background from Sue Wilson.
I cut it out once and embossed it then I lined it up again to the side of the first one and then cut it out again and embossed it.
I was really pleased how it came out.
you can't even see the join.
I then cut some deep pink card to go behind it.
I made a tent card to mount my background on.
I then used some more pink card and cut out the San Francisco die from Sue's Californian collection and added it to the centre of my card.
With a Happy Birthday die I cut it out in white card. I glued it in to the centre of my centre piece.
I tied a large bow and using my glue gun i added it to the side of my centre piece.
I made two hat pins and added them to the bow. In the centre of the bow i glued on a heart shaped gem.
I am really please with the way it turned out to say I was only playing about with the background.

Many Thanks
